A tense action epic. The title may be a bit misleading if you're expecting the classic John Williams score, but there's certainly dramatic tension and plenty of big screen atmosphere. Accentuated off-beat rhythms using percussion and strings, raspy brass swells and enhancing woodwinds all contribute to an edgy, pointed piece with a dark and sinister side.

Epic trailer music. Very epic. Starting calmly with synth pulses and atmospheric tension, it builds through powerful strings and percussive hits to become something else altogether grander. Add in the searing brass a choir and you're hitting next level drama. Melodic and powerful with a hybrid undertone throughout, it's a great example of fantastical action music.

A hard hitting, cinematic powerhouse of a track - epic in nature but with an added dissonance to turn the feeling away from the usual majesty and heroism and towards the unnerving, foreboding and impending aggression. Massive drum hits, solid brass punches and a relentless synth bass pulse converge with ever growing marcato strings to develop into a solid paced expression of force.

Playful and light orchestral pop. Starting simply with a calm piano intro, backed by soothing strings, the piece soon becomes expansive and fluid, with a tight rhythm section, fast repeating violin motifs and contrasting sweeping legato strings. The introduction of brass shadows the punch of the string shorts before backing off to reset the calm, chilled mood of the intro, as it again builds on the main theme until its short and sweet piano/trumpet ending. Happy and fulfilling in mood, with a romantic and charming undertone.

Orchestral carnival theme with a sense of the macabre. Very animated, with all the instruments of the orchestra featured for a dynamic and at times, deliberately hectic and manic feel, it captures both the fun, comical side of the circus with the darker, more horror themed associations we've come to see on the big screen. Hauntingly enjoyable.

Who doesn't love a huge epic with searing strings and majestic brass? This is it, with a little extra oomph. It's a builder, going from soft string ostinato into a drop of dramatic proportions to introduce the main theme: a steadily grandiose and heroic melody, helped largely by percussive hits, deep, deep braams, and marcato strings. Then double it. With searing strings and plenty of horns. An emotional triumph.

Epic and cinematic track tinged with a sense of sorrow, regret and desperation. It remains a huge orchestral event, full of brass braams, powerful drums and rich strings, but there's always a sense of yearning in the chord progressions and themes, making for very distinct and specific trailer music.

Sweeping legato strings and stabbing brass create the main melodies, with a menacing progression that regularly levels up on the intensity through key modulations. Inspirational theme with a full cinematic hit. Starting with an Aboriginal flavour for a sense of vast, faraway lands, it's soon transformed into an epic orchestral piece, full of drama and tension through percussive hits, brass swells and string ostinato. Grand and majestic with an adventurous, action filled undertone, it also hits the inspirational and awesome buttons.

Imperial sounding orchestral epic. Fanfare brass, snare drum and crashing gongs give a military feel, the strings adding a further cinematic depth to the piece with fast runs and ostinato passages. A touch of fantasy is brought in by the harp in an otherwise scene-setting track of determined grandeur and combative qualities, mixing calmer reflection with aggression.

Rhythmically and musically diverse orchestral piece. Magical and mysterious in its gently flowing piano lines and shimmering high strings, it builds on the theme with faster string ostinato and legato melodies, gradually turning into a deeper, more epic interpretation with added brass, woodwind and percussion. Without limiting yourself to the fantasy genre as it works for many other situations, think more 'fairies and elves showing their powers' than 'horsemen of the apocalypse'.
