I studied classical composition and orchestration in the school of the italian composer B. Bettinelli.
I’m influenced at the same time by the great masters of the '900 and by the passion for the Hollywood soundtracks: most of my music is orchestral or orchestral-hybrid, with rich harmonies and counterpoints but always with great attention to the melody and the expressive feeling of the music.
Lighthearted orchestral track focusing on a jumpy string theme, but adding flair and variety with the rest of the orchestra to generate more diversity and a sense of drama. Very cinematic in feel, the interplay between playfulness and more serious and intriguing themes gives it scope to be used in very different situations.
Positive synth pop EDM with anthemic stabs and melodic choruses. Youthful and energetic, but with a corporate feel more than a club feel, it's focused on creating a bouncy rhythm and upbeat tune first and foremost. Expect fat synth tones contrasting with light, high pitched melodies and quite a lot of sugar coating.
Orchestral track on a voyage of discovery, where the unexpected could be lurking around each corner. String ostinato keeps up the momentum while meandering and tense melodies from violins and choir search out a path to follow. Brass swells and rich horn and trombone lines add gravitas to an already dark and brooding atmosphere, forming a track that is steady paced but never really settled. Intriguing.
Gentle yet epic cinematic orchestral track. Full of sweeping string grandeur and delicate piano themes, it conveys a flourishing and uplifting voyage through a thriving dimension. There's a magical finesse from the choir, woodwinds and glockenspiel, all building towards a triumphant and emotional finale with grace and elegant splendour. Open yourself up to the stars and travel beyond.
Chamber string piece with a light hearted yet classically elegant style. Essentially a conversation between fast moving pizzicato passages and string shorts passages, it retains a lot of traditional classical composition form while adapting to a playful, modern approach suited to myriad media projects needing an upbeat, expressive theme without getting too heavy.
Orchestral carnival theme with a sense of the macabre. Very animated, with all the instruments of the orchestra featured for a dynamic and at times, deliberately hectic and manic feel, it captures both the fun, comical side of the circus with the darker, more horror themed associations we've come to see on the big screen. Hauntingly enjoyable.
