Royalty Free Aggressive Music

I'm going to call this one garage metal due to its overall raw old school tone, but it still has a modern punch, thanks mainly to the powerful, compressed assault you get from the drums. Aggressive, distorted and at times dissonant, it has all the angst and energy associated with the heavier end of the genre - fast rhythm picking, double bass blast beats and downtuned bass guitar all playing their part to bring you an unsettling and tense instrumental of dark heaviness.

Energetic synth rock with one foot firmly in the 80s. Simple but effective, it's a short, hyped up theme featuring drums, bass, guitar and a big dose of retro synth leads. Add in a few textures and warp them up - you've got the soundtrack to an emerging video game generation. Think neon colours, headbands and sci-fi.

Action/fantasy hybrid orchestral track. Fast, skittish passages contrast with sweeping legato for a dynamic and fast moving feel, further helped by a dramatic percussive beat. Highly charged and tense throughout, only pausing for breath at the midpoint and the outro, it sets a mysterious, nervous mood full of cinematic suspense.

Retro styled pop rock. Heavy synth usage gives a strong sense of 80s TV show glam in an otherwise steady rock track, also built on electric guitar power riffs and choral aahs. Relentless throughout, with an energetic, driving beat, it's upbeat and animated from the start with only short dips to reload a drum fill and push us back into the action.

Dark suspense track. With gothic overtones thanks to the choral themes and cinematic fantasy thanks to the repeated glockenspiel and piano motifs, the horror seeds are planted early on to generate the brooding atmosphere. With a deep, rolling bass line and booming percussion enhanced by synth drops, brass rasps and jagged strings, it soon becomes a nightmarish mix of ominous energy and overwhelming helplessness.

High energy EDM track, with rave and hard house influences. Mostly synth based, but also featuring piano, it's a lively 4 on the floor banger that cycles through its themes in various guises to create distinct sections whilst maintaining the overall dance feel. Upbeat, anthemic and classic.

Aggressive and hectic breakstep short. Take a beat, twist some synth hits, warp their outputs, add a little stutter and punish the envelopes of ... well, everything. As manic as a strobe light in a hall of mirrors, you won't sleep for days if you leave it on loop so be warned - for special circumstances only.

Dark, industrial electro track - not the manic, super hyped style but instead, a relentless march through aggressive synth lines and pounding beats creating a sinister and foreboding menace with a future styled flavour. You know the robots are rising up against us with this.

Orchestral (hybrid) track, featuring piano, strings, brass and FX. A lulling, yet dissonant piano theme takes centre stage, accompanied by legato violins and various chilling percussive effects to a sharp climax, before returning to the more sedate, yet unsettling motif. Edgy and intense, with an unresolved ending.

Unsettling soundscape of distorted bass swells, clean guitar and textures. An underlying percussive rhythm section attempts to ground the piece in a lounge jazz style, but is never allowed to dominate due to the interjecting effects - some natural, some synthesized. A tense and exploratory piece with dark overtones.

Edgy orchestral track. Starting with a fast moving string theme and percussion, deep chimes ring in the ominous dread approaching. Building in intensity, and dropping out, become able suspense techniques throughout, as does contrasting the doom with light playful passages on strings, woodwinds or xylophone. Slurred legato violins apply textured expression and rich brass adds an aggressive feel to create a dramatic, mysterious and epic composition.

Relentlessly marching forward like a futuristic army of committed androids, this hybrid track creates that militant backdrop of sinister suspense, juxtaposed with a subtle angelic command hovering above. More of an imposing action vibe than a melodic theme, it has a confrontational and impending feel about it in a traditionally cinematic style, adding synth elements to blend with an industrial, technological future.
