Light orchestral track of 2 contrasting halves. A soft piano intro sets a pensive tone as the piece builds up, using a delicate solo violin to enhance the mood and woodwinds and strings to grow intensity. As the track continues, so the mood changes as it swoons into a full orchestral celebration of romance and dance, using dynamic strings - shorts, pizzicato, legato and tremolo - over a supportive orchestral backdrop including piano and marimba. Opening with a dramatic sequence of string ostinato and female vocal aahs, and building in intenstity through legato strings, rhythmic percussion and stabbing brass, the mood changes to a softer, magical mid-section of vocals and sweeping strings, sprinkled with harp runs and chimes. The action soon returns with more beating taiko rhythm and full orchestra to the climax of a piece that suggests epic drama, action, mystery and heroism.  

Corporate track with a little more atmosphere than usual. Sure, it's corporate, so you know what to expect, but there's a better sense of depth from the off with sonic textures and background effects seeping through. Lots of plucks and soft pads, and the obligatory inspirational feeling and positive vibe that goes without saying.

Serene piano and string track. Mid paced, but lively thanks to the main piano theme that repeats within the orchestra, it builds calmly throughout the first half until it breaks into a more string focused piece, where the solo legato violin plays over marcato string shorts and high piano accents. An emotional and tender piece - light and innocent with a touch of curiosity.

Meandering, jazzy orchestral track. Lush legato strings and an ambling tempo set a warm, relaxing and carefree mood, backed by gentle brushed drums, walking double bass line and muted background brass. A more playful hammond organ lead temporarily takes over, giving an old time vibe before returning to the familiar, gentle orchestration and theme. An innocent, cosy and romantic piece from yesteryear.

Playful orchestral pop track. Light and skittish, with an upbeat feel, the dynamic instrumentation and rhythms settle into a regular, rolling movement of string shorts, xylophone and glockenspiel melodies, stomping bass, harp glissandi and percussion. Gently cartoonish with a more grown up edge, it still maintains its youthful vibrance and element of fun.

Brooding orchestral track. Starting with chiming piano, the intensity is increased by string sustains, shorts and tremolos. Melodic cello, legato double bass and a hint of brass swells add dramatic highlights and tension while pizzicato strings add a contrasting lightness to the piece. Full of suspense and expectation due to the clockwork-like piano and modulating chord progression, it has a dramatic, frustrated feeling.

Enchanting orchestral piece. A calm and relaxing piano intro builds through light strings and brass into a fairytale of regal elegance, further enhanced by the spirited glockenspiel. Brass fanfares, sweeping strings, fast violin motifs, timpani and percussion all create a ceremonial feel to this grand, uplifting track. 3 distinct sections give variety to the music, ending with a classic fanfare.

Mystical, orchestral epic, with an ethereal quality. Soothing choir and lush strings and pads start us off, with rich brass swelling to a gently pulsing section of strings and woodwinds as it builds to a more epic finale of fanfare brass and timpani rolls. No stand out melodies, but an overall feel of wonder and enlightenment in a gentle and majestic setting.

Featuring the whole orchestra in a well constructed, well paced action sequence, it's full of percussive hits, fluttering tremolos, cascading wind runs, brass stabs and a whole pit of underlying menace. Wonderfully dynamic and packing a real punch.

Magical and mysterious in its gently flowing piano lines and shimmering high strings, it builds on the theme with faster string ostinato and legato melodies, gradually turning into a deeper, more epic interpretation with added brass, woodwind and percussion. Without limiting yourself to the fantasy genre as it works for many other situations, think more 'fairies and elves showing their powers' than 'horsemen of the apocalypse'.

Soothingly haunted piano instrumental, backed by strings and harp. Slow and intense, with piano parts ranging from simple arpeggios to virtuosic runs, it's beautifully crafted to give the impression of elegance and subtlety with a darker, unseen edge lurking nearby. Drama, suspense, reflection and tension are the key ingredients to this minimalist track.

Fast paced cinematic track. A big, full orchestral piece, with all the ingredients for a family adventure film: epic themes, swirling violins, playful glockenspiel runs, off beat brass accents, percussive snare... the list goes on. Very colourful due to the expansive use of all the orchestral sections, as well as rhythmically and melodically, and constantly dynamic and upbeat. A grand soundtrack fit for a grand film.

Enchanting and ominous in equal measure, it's a piece full of grandeur with choral melodies accompanied by ever progressing string and brass themes to build to a fulfilling climax. Gentle and lilting only for the start and short ending, the more prominent mood is tension and ever increasing intensity.

Starting with a magical, fantasy feel through high legato strings and fast harp, it soon turns to a more mystical orchestration, melancholic cello becoming more prominent, and introducing a stately motif - something that is boldly developed into a majestic statement as the flow of the music unwinds. Peaceful and steady, while maintaining the grandeur and wonder of an unknown infinite universe, it's a gentle study of questions without answers.

Melancholic lo-fi song with a chilled, laid back feel. Mixing modern urban stylings with a smooth jazz feel and clean male vocals, it manages to effortlessly blend multiple effects and elements, from tape warp to pitched up vocal samples, into a cohesive contemporary track about deep love. Great groove and perfect production.

Imperial sounding orchestral epic. Fanfare brass, snare drum and crashing gongs give a military feel, the strings adding a further cinematic depth to the piece with fast runs and ostinato passages. A touch of fantasy is brought in by the harp in an otherwise scene-setting track of determined grandeur and combative qualities, mixing calmer reflection with aggression.

Modern R&B background instrumental. Focused on getting a good groove rather than a standout lead theme, it's based on keyboard chords and offbeat accents for a hip hop feel that's smooth and chilled. Splattered with vocal samples, synth textures and a little funk guitar, it's quite minimal in its steady approach to creating a laid back, modern vibe, with a relaxed, mid tempo feel and spacious instrumentation.
