Interesting to the point of experimentation due to the dissonances and jerky rhythms, it is inherently a classically inspired composition with 20th Century music influences. A sense of the bizarre mixed with battle drum percussion, you have fast, chaotic woodwinds interjecting with off beat brass stabs and a prominent choir echoing and mirroring the main themes. A strong military feel, with a mix of gothic darkness and mischeivous endeavour in a cinematic package.

Frantic, nervy, edgy - this is a real orchestral epic full of tension and 20th Century classical leanings. Making full use of textural string swarms, brass stabs and an underlying percussive accent, it manages to build to an action blockbuster feel, with dramatic mania from woodwind flurries and an overall dynamism that never settles. Very engaging and wonderfully executed.

Never quite certain if it's a gentle lullaby or a sinister horror soundtrack, its multi-level nuances come from the slightest interval changes in the piano melodies. Backed by evolving cello textures and enchanting bells, it's a lilting track of sweet dreams ....... and perhaps sweeter nightmares.

What starts as an atmospheric horror build up of risers, metal hits, orchestral swarms and harmonics, harp glissandi and random percussive elements finally breaks into a short, off-beat orchestral string theme. Soothing but mysterious orchestral track. Arpeggiated piano and strings start classically, but a theremin lead takes things to an unexpected level of mystical contrast. Elegance and majesty is constant due to the warm orchestration throughout, with a deliberate unease and suspense created by the unusual instrumentation and melodies.

Eerie sounding, and slightly sinister in feeling, it creates an impending tension through drones, dissonant tones and high pitched sounds before breaking into a pulsing section with sub bass hits and shrill synth textures. The action soon returns with more beating taiko rhythm and full orchestra to the climax of a piece that suggests epic drama, action, mystery and heroism.
