Instrumental jazz big band music sting for an award ceremony. Expressing achievement and success. BAFTA, Oscars ceremonial.

Using a gentle, repeating piano intro as the base to build on with light percussion, woodwinds and strings, it turns more cinematic as it bursts into life with drums, bass and full legato strings. An underlying arpeggiated ostinato becomes the main theme, joined by brass and a string counter melody, gradually building in intensity for the climactic ending before dramatically cutting to the original solo piano to finish. An uplifting, inspiring and ceremonial piece full of musical hooks.  

Enchanting orchestral piece. A calm and relaxing piano intro builds through light strings and brass into a fairytale of regal elegance, further enhanced by the spirited glockenspiel. Brass fanfares, sweeping strings, fast violin motifs, timpani and percussion all create a ceremonial feel to this grand, uplifting track. 3 distinct sections give variety to the music, ending with a classic fanfare.

Spiritual, religious and inspirational christian music with a dramatic climax. Hallelujah, darkness becomes light.

Tense orchestral track. Evoking dark satanic ceremonies and gothic energy through heavy use of the chanting choir, and destabilising the listener with uneven time signatures, it's a piece that leaves no doubt about its sinister intentions. Sharp, jagged strings, punctuated brass and tribal percussion contribute to the mood from the start, never letting up on the energy and intensity throughout. Unsettling and soaked in desperate, impending damnation.

Fast moving orchestral track. Regal in mood due to the fanfare-like brass runs, it's a celebratory piece that also features sweeping legato strings for the main theme. Timpani hits add to the triumphant mood, creating an overall positive and uplifitng feeling of success, glory and achievement.

Lighthearted orchestral track focusing on a jumpy string theme, but adding flair and variety with the rest of the orchestra to generate more diversity and a sense of drama. Very cinematic in feel, the interplay between playfulness and more serious and intriguing themes gives it scope to be used in very different situations.
