Contemporary orchestral piece with a cartoonish side. You know when you wake up, and everything seems OK until you look at the clock? Panic sets in as you hurry to catch up, with too much to do in not enough time. Here it is in musical form - bright, spritely passages followed by startling realisation and fast paced xylophone and string runs, all mixed up with a sense of urgency in a dramatic and dynamic composition featuring the whole orchestra.

A soft, mid paced orchestral track with a sombre side. A gentle, pulsating string and harp intro featuring solo viola, cello and oboe flourishes into life with string shorts, harp glissandi and orchestral runs before dying down again for the ending. Good use of the vibraphone creates a dreamlike quality to help set an intense, melancholic and nostalgic mood, tinged with a sense of reflection and regret.

A good underlying movement is created by soft percussion, string shorts and rolling arpeggiated piano as well as the phrasing of the music to create a piece of magical serenity, wonder and reassurance.

Unsettling offbeats and ominous descending themes, mixed with fast, jagged strings, create a world of swirling intensity that cycles round, only momentarily pausing at times to rebuild again. Supported by a backbeat of percussive hits and interjecting brass stabs, it has high energy and movement with a strong gothic, epic feel.

Edgy orchestral track. Starting with a fast moving string theme and percussion, deep chimes ring in the ominous dread approaching. Building in intensity, and dropping out, become able suspense techniques throughout, as does contrasting the doom with light playful passages on strings, woodwinds or xylophone. Slurred legato violins apply textured expression and rich brass adds an aggressive feel to create a dramatic, mysterious and epic composition.

Emotional, sentimental and dramatic piano and orchestra instrumental music. Heartfelt, romantic and evocative underscore.

Mystical, orchestral epic, with an ethereal quality. Soothing choir and lush strings and pads start us off, with rich brass swelling to a gently pulsing section of strings and woodwinds as it builds to a more epic finale of fanfare brass and timpani rolls. No stand out melodies, but an overall feel of wonder and enlightenment in a gentle and majestic setting.

Goofy orchestral soundtrack that will go down well with young kids (and childish adults). Always light and silly, it's the muted trumpet that gets the honour of playing the duck, built on by a gaggle of woodwinds, a herd of pizzicato strings and percussion, and soon joined by a flock of flutes. It's bouncy, animated and could almost be interpreted as a drunken stumble home if it wasn't so innocent.

Fast paced cinematic track. A big, full orchestral piece, with all the ingredients for a family adventure film: epic themes, swirling violins, playful glockenspiel runs, off beat brass accents, percussive snare... the list goes on. Very colourful due to the expansive use of all the orchestral sections, as well as rhythmically and melodically, and constantly dynamic and upbeat. A grand soundtrack fit for a grand film.

Atmospheric background mood music with piano, harp and strings. Based around a rolling, arpeggiated piano and harp theme, the first half remains simple and uncomplicated. Introducing legato and staccato strings with a pizzicato bass for the second half, and soft woodwinds later, adds a broader orchestral dynamic and interest whilst maintaining the dreamlike ambience and perpetual expression of rainfall.

Fast moving orchestral track. High paced due to the continuous underlying percussion and string ostinato that drives it, the main themes appear through the legato strings, perfectly complemented by interwoven brass and woodwind lines. Key modulations help reset the progression of each section for a continued growth in intensity, setting an unrelenting, hectic mood of suspense, action, mystery and drama.

Dark, enchanted orchestral theme. Slightly exotic melodies and off beat rhythms create unease and a sense of the bizarre, all to a backdrop of tribal percussion. Choral wails and brass stabs interrupt the flow to further unsettle things and fast string themes impose the aggression in this mid tempo piece of symphonic tension. Windswept is the title, but it's not designed to ruffle any feathers, more the hairs on the back of your neck. A serene and soothing cinematic soundscape with a triumphantly heroic and patriotic undertone, it's a builder, taking you from gentle and simple ambient piano to an orchestral flurry of woodwinds and legato strings, all the while generating a deep atmosphere of anticipation, inspiration and optimism capturing an essence of the past to give hope to the future.  

Powerful action hybrid track, featuring orchestral, synth and rock elements. Building on a chaotic, percussive start with string shorts and synth motifs, the main themes start to develop and take shape as electric guitar and brass figure more prominently, all leading towards the final hard rock section, with a driving drum beat, timpani hits, chugging orchestration and distorted guitar. Full of intensity and drama with a cinematic sheen.

Light orchestral track of 2 contrasting halves. A soft piano intro sets a pensive tone as the piece builds up, using a delicate solo violin to enhance the mood and woodwinds and strings to grow intensity. As the track continues, so the mood changes as it swoons into a full orchestral celebration of romance and dance, using dynamic strings - shorts, pizzicato, legato and tremolo - over a supportive orchestral backdrop including piano and marimba. What starts as reflective and fragile transforms into an uplifting, romantic and joyous piece.

Powerful orchestral track, energised by jagged rhythms, varied dynamics, and pounding percussion. All the elements of an action epic are here: string ostinato, percussive hits, brass swells, legato string themes, interjecting woodwind runs, and more. Lots of ebb and flow as the music skilfully grows in intensity, only to drop and reset for another hit, creating a piece that is dramatic, adventurous and full of suspense.

Lighthearted orchestral track focusing on a jumpy string theme, but adding flair and variety with the rest of the orchestra to generate more diversity and a sense of drama. Very cinematic in feel, the interplay between playfulness and more serious and intriguing themes gives it scope to be used in very different situations.
