Dance into the Caribbean night with this feel good track. Featuring steel drums and electric guitar for the melody, and to create the classic West Indies sound, it's the pounding rhythm section of percussive drums and lively bass that generate the movement, helped by lots of 'call/response' phrasing throughout. A short breakdown of delayed keyboard over hand drums and shaker freshens things up, ready for the return of the main theme to finish. Happy days.
Laid back island music, with various international influences. Representing the Caribbean, let the steel drums make your ears dance. From South America, feel the beat of the bossa nova rhythms on percussion and guitar. And why not, a little French je ne sais quoi with the accordion. Blend it all together, and you've got a track that says sunshine, relaxation and, er .... baguettes.
If I say 'pirates' and you think 'Caribbean', then we both know where this is heading. With more than a passing reference to a certain well-known theme, it's every bit as swashbuckling, unleashing the full power of a cinematic orchestra and its percussive ensemble. Having said that, it does have slightly less seafaring tendencies and could easily lend itself to many other action settings from thrillers to adventure scenes, given its generally sterner feel. Epic stuff.
Cool paced pop song with a heavy reggae influence. The usual line up of drums, bass and guitar is there, as well as the organ, but what's great here is the horn section, lifting the overall feel to smother this love story with sunshine moods and Caribbean vibes. Upbeat, charming and full of honest loveliness, it's a musical smile.
An upbeat track infused with reggae/ska vibes for an island sound - I can almost taste the sunshine. A familiar offbeat accent from the guitar drives the song continuously forward, and a horn section adds a rich flavour to this feel good song. Unfussed male vocals are positive and lively, yet remain laid back enough to keep the mood cool. If 'relaxed happy-go-lucky in the sunshine' is what you're looking for, this one's for you.
Indie pop rock track breaking into reggae influenced choruses. You might think it shouldn't work, but the two styles blend seamlessly thanks to the consistency of the relaxed male vocals and instrumentation. Guitar, bass, drums and some sunshine flavours from the organ perk up the song to create an upbeat, toe tapping story about online dating. Cheerful, upbeat and even an organ solo - what more do you want?
Epic and majestic. Coming at you like an army of Valkyries riding the crest of a tidal wave, it is a full on orchestral juggernaut of swirling action and heroic battling, featuring solid string ostinato and massive percussion, taken to the next level with huge choirs and even bolder brass. There's big, there's bigger, and then there's this.
