Goofy orchestral soundtrack that will go down well with young kids (and childish adults). Always light and silly, it's the muted trumpet that gets the honour of playing the duck, built on by a gaggle of woodwinds, a herd of pizzicato strings and percussion, and soon joined by a flock of flutes. It's bouncy, animated and could almost be interpreted as a drunken stumble home if it wasn't so innocent.

Orchestral carnival theme with a sense of the macabre. Very animated, with all the instruments of the orchestra featured for a dynamic and at times, deliberately hectic and manic feel, it captures both the fun, comical side of the circus with the darker, more horror themed associations we've come to see on the big screen. Hauntingly enjoyable.

Frantic, nervy, edgy - this is a real orchestral epic full of tension and 20th Century classical leanings. Making full use of textural string swarms, brass stabs and an underlying percussive accent, it manages to build to an action blockbuster feel, with dramatic mania from woodwind flurries and an overall dynamism that never settles. Very engaging and wonderfully executed.

Wistfully floating into the ether, this short cinematic track beautifully glides between soft angelic voices and shimmering strings for a soothingly uplifting and pensive feel that has a deeply tragic undertone. Melancholic yet optimistic at the same time, it makes great use of the natural qualities of the cellos and ethnic woodwinds to paint its heavenly picture of light and dark.

Enchanting orchestral piece. A calm and relaxing piano intro builds through light strings and brass into a fairytale of regal elegance, further enhanced by the spirited glockenspiel. Brass fanfares, sweeping strings, fast violin motifs, timpani and percussion all create a ceremonial feel to this grand, uplifting track. 3 distinct sections give variety to the music, ending with a classic fanfare.

Playful instrumental track in a Celtic/Mediaeval folk style. Alternating between celtic flute and fiddle passages, it has an authentic feel of a shindig from the Middle Ages, only giving a nod to more modern times with a rolling guitar theme. Unsurprisingly, the beat comes from a bodhran and tambourine and conjures up images of dance, drink and good times, only pausing for a more subdued and reflective mid section.

Relaxing lounge track. Chilled atmosphere created by synth pads, and lead melodies on nylon guitar and flute. Vocal backing and synth sweeps evoke images of nature and flight in a track that builds up to a fuller groove without losing its calm and sense of adventure.

Soft, dreamy passages lead to fast, aggressive hits and steady rolling motifs change to uneven, juxtaposed off-beat rhythms to form a modern, classical piece that hints at a sombre, downtrodden mood with a carefree, optimistic side.
