If I say 'pirates' and you think 'Caribbean', then we both know where this is heading. With more than a passing reference to a certain well-known theme, it's every bit as swashbuckling, unleashing the full power of a cinematic orchestra and its percussive ensemble. Having said that, it does have slightly less seafaring tendencies and could easily lend itself to many other action settings from thrillers to adventure scenes, given its generally sterner feel. Epic stuff.

Not even a tribute to a familiar 007 theme, this holds its own as a gritty, passionate piece featuring well crafted popular elements of cinematic music: string ostinato, deep brass and pumping rhythms. Brooding, rich and dramatic, if crime was a turbulent love story, this would be its theme.

A tense action epic. The title may be a bit misleading if you're expecting the classic John Williams score, but there's certainly dramatic tension and plenty of big screen atmosphere. Accentuated off-beat rhythms using percussion and strings, raspy brass swells and enhancing woodwinds all contribute to an edgy, pointed piece with a dark and sinister side.

Tribal African Music. Fun, quirky, rhythmic and catchy with a light, positive and uplifting mood. African stomps and chants.

Anarchic, industrial dubstep, crazily hyped up so that you'll never sleep again. With its constant electro tones slamming off the walls in every direction, aggressive synth leads firing into your chest and flickering on/off beats pumping the blood, it's like being dropped straight into the middle of a techno club night while being high on gamers' adrenaline.

Dramatic and tense orchestral trailer music. Great variety and build up thanks to the dynamic instrumentation and rhythms, from deep string shorts to trombone slides, violin marcato passages to industrial percussive impacts and choral backing to piano hits, it's all there. Slightly dark with an aggressive sense of action and suspense, it's hybrid cinematic music doing its atmospheric best.
