A tense action epic. The title may be a bit misleading if you're expecting the classic John Williams score, but there's certainly dramatic tension and plenty of big screen atmosphere. Accentuated off-beat rhythms using percussion and strings, raspy brass swells and enhancing woodwinds all contribute to an edgy, pointed piece with a dark and sinister side.

I'm going to call this one garage metal due to its overall raw old school tone, but it still has a modern punch, thanks mainly to the powerful, compressed assault you get from the drums. Aggressive, distorted and at times dissonant, it has all the angst and energy associated with the heavier end of the genre - fast rhythm picking, double bass blast beats and downtuned bass guitar all playing their part to bring you an unsettling and tense instrumental of dark heaviness.

Dramatic and tense orchestral trailer music. Great variety and build up thanks to the dynamic instrumentation and rhythms, from deep string shorts to trombone slides, violin marcato passages to industrial percussive impacts and choral backing to piano hits, it's all there. Slightly dark with an aggressive sense of action and suspense, it's hybrid cinematic music doing its atmospheric best.

Orchestral track on a voyage of discovery, where the unexpected could be lurking around each corner. String ostinato keeps up the momentum while meandering and tense melodies from violins and choir search out a path to follow. Brass swells and rich horn and trombone lines add gravitas to an already dark and brooding atmosphere, forming a track that is steady paced but never really settled. Intriguing.

Tense and edgy cinematic track with a battle-ready feeling. A marching, percussive crescendo with short string stabs leads us into the full theme - string ostinato, shorts and a macabre sense of doom from the gothic choral chanting. Add in a few risers, sound design effects and tribal drums and the effect is complete: high intensity action with a sinister edge.  

Epic symphonic track. Packed with action, intensity and a strong battle feel, it uses string ostinato and lots of snare percussion to generate a dramatic and, at times, chaotic ambience. Split into 2 halves to allow for a dynamic change and subsequent build up, the heroic brass adds tension thoughout under the screaming violins and relentless basses. Tense, bold and soaked in impending doom.

Intense, dark and threatening cinematic theme, with ominous synths and pads. Futuristic and industrial with a spooky atmospheric sheen, it combines spine chilling FX with hyped up leads and builds to a percussively driven climax. Very dynamic and grows from brooding underscore to 'in your face' tension builder at the drop of a ...... drop. Expect plenty or risers, whooshes and impacts.

Action packed, adrenaline fuelled percussive glitch rock. With a percussive, tribal beat setting the tone, the rest is built up of riffing electric guitar with overlaid synth textures, sweeps and drops. Working brilliantly as a tension builder due to the constant forward momentum and suspense, it carries interest both as a standalone track and a supporting theme for multiple projects, from sports to games to action films. Upbeat, tense and punching like a stadium rock riff on steroids.

Epic and aggressive trailer music. Short and direct, you get big drum impacts boosted by distorted synth, developing into a warped and intense theme with accented string shorts. Cinematic and industrial with a powerful rhythmic beat, it's not going to fit with anything less than 'giant' on the awesome scale.

Slow building, cinematic orchestral piece. Immediately dramatic and intense, through single repeated piano notes and suspenseful violin harmonics, there's an ethnic edge in the instrumentation merging with strings and oboe as the piece turns darker with rich bass and dissonant textures. Ambient and brooding throughout with a tragic, heroic feel to the second half due to a sweeping string and brass melody accompanied by added timpani and rhythm, it remains a calm yet slightly unsettling piece with outstanding tension.

Ambient cowboys and cinematic moods - it's a slow, brooding track of tense atmosphere with a strong Western theme and no strict tempo. Deep, resonant pads lay the base with a soulful, sparse and highly reverbed electric guitar lead freely meandering over the top.

Looking for something different, with more than a touch of dark pop? Here we go - brooding atmosphere with sultry male vocals and a synth heavy backdrop. Deliberately disjointed with its constant tone changes but masterfully linked together with its memorable leads, rhythmic muted guitar and resonant synth frequencies, it's sexually super-charged and mystically erotic with a tense underlying grit. Hot. And sweaty.

Laid back Western-themed track with a cool blues-rock vibe. Laying a confident swagger in the rhythm of the minimalist beat of drums and bass, the flavour comes from the ever so slightly suspicious and tense conversation between the harmonica and electric guitar. Kinda moody, kinda confrontational, kinda edgy. But always kinda cool.

Tense and intriguing solo violin piece backed by string ensemble. Huge portamento leaps, trills and atonal leanings mix to generate a beautiful but mysterious mood - ambiguous yet soothing, curious yet stable, it's an evocative siren's call full of emotion.

An epic tension builder. Gritty synths, hard hitting percussion and an industrial feel give way to a more orchestral hybrid sound of ostinato strings, braams and taiko drums, growing in intensity all the time to a drop out and final climactic hit. Intense, powerful and spine tingling.

A short solo piece consisting of dramatic descending piano arpeggios, starting with a delicate, fragile ambience and building to a more urgent, tense finale through fuller bass and more animated expression. Relying on it's momentum, chord progressions and constant flow to generate the emotion, it's not a complicated, stand alone track, but intended to fill a need to enhance a mood - one of slight urgency, anxiety, mystery and tension.

Very lively and beat driven, without being overly aggressive, the hits and impacts are enhanced by synth phrases and distorted electric guitar riffs, intended to create an overall landscape of power, industry and energy rather than a memorable melody. Unrelenting and tense dark electro.

Dark and atmospheric from the start, using a simple repeated piano theme, and enhanced by subtle, dissonant strings and choir to create suspense, the piece remains stable but varied throughout - synth pulses and percussion add movement, cello adds melancholy, glockenspiel adds lightness. The slow pace adds to the dramatic tension so you're left in no doubt that something must be lurking nearby.
