Interpersed with pizzicato, it's the violin that sings the song over the ever constant piano accompaniment, creating a feeling of suspense, wonder and fragility. A dark piece full of intrigue.

Hints of jazzy softness, ambient soundscapes and unassuming prog rock ideas combine to form a subtly free-flowing and easy going track. A light, mid tempo rock beat backs the lead electric guitar which does most of the work, meandering through various flashes of melodic noodling, filled out by organ and bass. Moods come and go, instruments fade in and out, but the winter romance is ever present.

Lots of flowing background keyboard runs, soft pads and gentle acoustic guitar give a meandering momentum to the piece, while pop brass give an unexpected stab, resulting in an upbeat and energetic contrast to the mellow undertone. Nothing heavy, but a relaxed, self assured and expectant vibe with lots of positivity.

Tense and intriguing solo violin piece backed by string ensemble. Huge portamento leaps, trills and atonal leanings mix to generate a beautiful but mysterious mood - ambiguous yet soothing, curious yet stable, it's an evocative siren's call full of emotion.

Deep, rich tones from the legato strings, playful glockenspiel motifs and elegant, metronomic piano themes melt together in a swirling pot of mystery and suspense. Timpani hits and string shorts add drama, harp glissandi adds sparkle, chordal modulations add intrigue - and a final solo violin and piano section adds a touch of tragedy to complete the story.
