Not to say it can't generate a level of epic befitting the holidays though - marching snare drum and faster string ostinato drive the piece forward, harp glissandi add fantasy elements, and a choir backing lifts the whole piece to a wholesome and fulfilling finale. Gradually building with stronger drums and added layers of instrumentation, it's a simple story of togetherness and ease.

Very heroic, a little bit menacing and not at all shy - it's in your face, balls out exhilaration.

Without limiting yourself to the fantasy genre as it works for many other situations, think more 'fairies and elves showing their powers' than 'horsemen of the apocalypse'.
