A short, spooky horror theme with a vintage, lo-fi feel to evoke those darkest of unwanted memories from times best forgotten. Hollow and brittle, but hypnotically repetitive, there are small subtleties to lift it - detuned instruments, dropouts, jagged string stabs and pizzicato - with a near constant deep brooding bass to rumble your bones. An edgy and mysterious, fast moving track that works great as a tension builder or scene setter.

Imperial sounding orchestral epic. Fanfare brass, snare drum and crashing gongs give a military feel, the strings adding a further cinematic depth to the piece with fast runs and ostinato passages. Melodic cello, legato double bass and a hint of brass swells add dramatic highlights and tension while pizzicato strings add a contrasting lightness to the piece. Full of suspense and expectation due to the clockwork-like piano and modulating chord progression, it has a dramatic, frustrated feeling.

Without limiting yourself to the fantasy genre as it works for many other situations, think more 'fairies and elves showing their powers' than 'horsemen of the apocalypse'.

Not to say it can't generate a level of epic befitting the holidays though - marching snare drum and faster string ostinato drive the piece forward, harp glissandi add fantasy elements, and a choir backing lifts the whole piece to a wholesome and fulfilling finale. Playful and festive.

Acoustic medieval inspired track generating a fantasy vibe. It has a gentle 6/8 flow to give it a sense of dance and movement, and tries to keep its authenticity through the instrumentation; led by a (just about medieval) harpsichord, it's accompanied by simple beating percussion, harp, flute and maybe even a hint of hurdy-gurdy.
