Building up from a steady paced intro of synth pulses and percussion with risers and textures, adding in the orchestral elements gradually hikes up the tension until it goes full on cinema mode with the grandest of themes, perfect for dramatic tension and trailers. A bold statement of majesty and positivity with a slightly dark, yet utterly confident overall feel.

If I say 'pirates' and you think 'Caribbean', then we both know where this is heading. With more than a passing reference to a certain well-known theme, it's every bit as swashbuckling, unleashing the full power of a cinematic orchestra and its percussive ensemble. Having said that, it does have slightly less seafaring tendencies and could easily lend itself to many other action settings from thrillers to adventure scenes, given its generally sterner feel. Epic stuff.

What a happy track. Normally you'd be excused for thinking it's just another ukulele/glockenspiel track with an overly cheerful whistle, but wait ... a touch of realism in the form of a brass section arrives to save the day, transforming it into a more authentic and slightly novel kids/corporate tune. Upbeat, gently warm and of course, bursting with sunshine-y positivity.

Orchestral hybrid track with a strong aggressive streak. Starting with soft strings and underlying textures, the mood turns harder as industrial percussion kicks in, creating a chaotic fusion between jagged strings and harsh brass runs. Ominous, highly charged and tense.

The title says 'News', but in truth, it's more than that. It certainly has a current affairs/political theme running through it, with its grand orchestral hits, tension-building ascensions, string ostinato, tremolo, percussive chimes and brass swells, but capturing such a cinematic dynamic opens it up to many other uses where a time-led intensity is required. Think James Bond on a deadline.  

Imperial sounding orchestral epic. Fanfare brass, snare drum and crashing gongs give a military feel, the strings adding a further cinematic depth to the piece with fast runs and ostinato passages. A touch of fantasy is brought in by the harp in an otherwise scene-setting track of determined grandeur and combative qualities, mixing calmer reflection with aggression.

Symphonic rock track with a hyped up feel. Very energetic and nervous in feel, you can sense the tension created by dark chord sequences through electric power chords and gripping string marcato. Brooding legato string passages juxtapose the neverending pound of the drums while electric guitars harmonise like a symphony orchestra for a dynamic action piece that starts intense, and just gets stronger. Mysterious and unrelenting.

Frantic, nervy, edgy - this is a real orchestral epic full of tension and 20th Century classical leanings. Making full use of textural string swarms, brass stabs and an underlying percussive accent, it manages to build to an action blockbuster feel, with dramatic mania from woodwind flurries and an overall dynamism that never settles. Very engaging and wonderfully executed.

Epic and cinematic track tinged with a sense of sorrow, regret and desperation. It remains a huge orchestral event, full of brass braams, powerful drums and rich strings, but there's always a sense of yearning in the chord progressions and themes, making for very distinct and specific trailer music.

Adrenalin fuelled cinematic track. A rhythmically charged intro of unison piano and string shorts flourishes into a gothic fantasy dance with subtly macabre overtones, featuring choral melodies and later, epic brass. Impacts and percussion drive the piece forward in a swirl of dramatic emotion, rising again through a key change to its conclusion. Darkly romantic with a playful vibe, it is an energetic, all action piece with a grandiose flair.

Simple groovy retro style disco track reminiscent of famous 70s jeans commercials.

Epic symphonic track. Packed with action, intensity and a strong battle feel, it uses string ostinato and lots of snare percussion to generate a dramatic and, at times, chaotic ambience. Split into 2 halves to allow for a dynamic change and subsequent build up, the heroic brass adds tension thoughout under the screaming violins and relentless basses. Tense, bold and soaked in impending doom.

Good time, toe tapping boogie woogie with a full big band. A swinging shuffle beat and that familiar hammered piano rhythm get you moving, with the real spice coming from the horn section - rasping brightness, muted trumpets and unison swells adding a real pizazz to an already upbeat groove. Everyone on their feet ....

Fantasy adventure track. Using the complete orchestra to generate an organised chaos, this fast paced piece features themes from all directions - string runs, woodwind answering phrases, brass interjections and relentless percussion all combining to create a circus of sounds with a hint of the macabre. A whirlwind of symphonic fantasy.

Action/fantasy hybrid orchestral track. Fast, skittish passages contrast with sweeping legato for a dynamic and fast moving feel, further helped by a dramatic percussive beat. Highly charged and tense throughout, only pausing for breath at the midpoint and the outro, it sets a mysterious, nervous mood full of cinematic suspense.

Energetic jazz fusion with a boxy retro feel. Smokey bars, mystery hoodlums and high jinx crime capers mixed into musical form through the power of jazz. Sweeping into your ears like a classic 60s TV series theme, it builds on jerky bass and piano riffs by adding interjecting brass and lush strings for an evolving piece that's upbeat and cool with more than a hint of suspense
