Think James Bond on a deadline.

A tense action epic. The title may be a bit misleading if you're expecting the classic John Williams score, but there's certainly dramatic tension and plenty of big screen atmosphere. Accentuated off-beat rhythms using percussion and strings, raspy brass swells and enhancing woodwinds all contribute to an edgy, pointed piece with a dark and sinister side.

Respite comes in the middle section with a calm, simple piano sequence backed by soft string chords that soon builds to the original fanfare and return of the familiar intensity of the first half. Tension, danger and doom aplenty in a confrontational and menacing work.
