Not to say it can't generate a level of epic befitting the holidays though - marching snare drum and faster string ostinato drive the piece forward, harp glissandi add fantasy elements, and a choir backing lifts the whole piece to a wholesome and fulfilling finale. Plodding brass bass line? Sure. Cackling spectres in the background? Don't mind if I do. Hard house rave beat? Don't be ridiculous, that really wouldn't help - we're going for spooky 'what's creeping up on me' with this track and you won't be disappointed. Unless they see you from the shadows.
