Dreamland

Ambient orchestral hybrid piece, mixing rich synth textures and leads with traditional instruments, and weaving it all through a tapestry of rhythmic playfulness. A complex web of time signatures combines seamlessly to create an ever evolving, free flowing landscape for the rolling piano and pizzicato strings to colour in, all while keeping a light and uplifting tone to the music. Woodwinds add air and space, gentle percussion adds a touch of movement and magic, generating a peaceful background track that gives something a bit different.

A dark, unsettling ambient cinematic soundscape, with ethereal textured synth pads and distant thunders. Slightly ethnic thanks to the bamboo flute that seeps through the mist, and slightly enchanted thanks to the shimmering synth strings, it has a peaceful spirituality about it whilst keeping a mysterious edginess.

Fantasy adventure track. Using the complete orchestra to generate an organised chaos, this fast paced piece features themes from all directions - string runs, woodwind answering phrases, brass interjections and relentless percussion all combining to create a circus of sounds with a hint of the macabre. A whirlwind of symphonic fantasy.

Brooding orchestral track. Starting with chiming piano, the intensity is increased by string sustains, shorts and tremolos. Melodic cello, legato double bass and a hint of brass swells add dramatic highlights and tension while pizzicato strings add a contrasting lightness to the piece. Full of suspense and expectation due to the clockwork-like piano and modulating chord progression, it has a dramatic, frustrated feeling.
