Ambient Western track, in no hurry to get anywhere in particular. Soaking up the desert heat at walking pace, it's a beautifully constructed mix of shimmering strummed electric guitar chords, tremolo and slide leads, whistles and harmonica that oozes Americana. Percussive hand drums add some horse flavours to the theme, a theme that at times is sad and nostalgic, at others more comfortable in its solitude, but portrays a lot more than just cowboys and saddle sores.
A dark and cinematic prog-rock theme, with a classic old school feel. Starting simply with repeated single guitar notes, an acoustic guitar melody builds the tension towards the entry of the sparse and spacious drum beat and booming bass line. Just a simple theme, but a gritty, mysterious and brooding theme with a hint of Americana and Westerns, successfully accomplished in 40 seconds.
Old time banjo track. Accompanied by piano and guitar, simplicity is the name of the game for this country Americana track. Igniting the yesteryear feel with a honky-tonk, lo-fi feel to the recording, it's a slow paced amble through American plains on horseback, with time to reflect on life's great mysteries. Satisfyingly uncomplicated and charming.
Feel good country track. Male vocals sing of a girl coming into his life, lighting it up and loving him despite having no money. So no gold diggers here, just hot country guitar and piano licks over strummed guitar and a rock steady rhythm section. Very upbeat and positive, with catchy harmonies and choruses, it's not overly sugar coated, even if it's definitely sweet.
Dark alt country/Americana rock, with a swing beat. Soft and intimate through the dreamy vocals and reverb soaked slide guitar, yet energetic enough through the bouncing bass line and solid drums, the track manages to marry dark lyrics with melodic leads for a slightly mysterious and even psychedelic, hypnotic overall feel.
Sweet country music track. Upbeat and full of movement, it has great piano and guitar licks coupled with subtle background harmonies to create an authentic country flavour. Singing about his love for a girl, it's a sugar-coated effort to sway her - for his sake, let's hope the super clean vocals, catchy choruses and great production are enough.
Lo-fi acoustic folk tune. Evoking yesteryear, not just through the boxy recording but also the old time instrumentation of acoustic guitar and banjo, it's a mellow and relaxing track without a care in the world. Gently rolling guitar with a charming banjo lead melody calmly ambles on, never straying far from the main theme and continuously generating the soothing vibe.
