Ambient Western track, in no hurry to get anywhere in particular. Soaking up the desert heat at walking pace, it's a beautifully constructed mix of shimmering strummed electric guitar chords, tremolo and slide leads, whistles and harmonica that oozes Americana. Percussive hand drums add some horse flavours to the theme, a theme that at times is sad and nostalgic, at others more comfortable in its solitude, but portrays a lot more than just cowboys and saddle sores.
A gentle, mid tempo instrumental. A delayed piano introduces the main theme, soon joined by strummed guitar and synth pads for a richer sound. A soft stomp feel from the bass and solid beat gives a sense of momentum and strength, helping the uplifting and inspirational tone without getting heavy. A mid section of keyboard and string shorts changes the mood to a more dramatic, serious tone before pizzicato strings add a touch of frivolity towards the end to remind us it's a cheerful piece, full of positivity and motivation even during the more reflective moments.
852 Hz – the frequency of the Third Eye Chakra and the miracle tone for awakening intuition, kind of like a portal to a clearer way of thinking, directing you away from overthinking, intrusive thoughts and negative thought patterns. Without hesitation, I'm happy to say that this visionary meditative soundscape can lift your spirits with its sweeping tones and ethereal dynamic, raising your mood to higher levels and targeting the subconscious workings of the inner mind. Soothing, inquisitive, brooding and intimate.
A downbeat chillhop track, making the most of lo-fi vibes and ambient textures to create a hazy, mellow feel with a modern touch. Lots of vintage tone from the electric piano and soft string pads brings the warmth, with a cool groove beat dropping in and out to change things up. Sprinkled with effects and accentuated by melodic and sonic background highlights, it's a laid back journey to nowhere in particular, and that's just fine.
Looking for something different, with more than a touch of dark pop? Here we go - brooding atmosphere with sultry male vocals and a synth heavy backdrop. Deliberately disjointed with its constant tone changes but masterfully linked together with its memorable leads, rhythmic muted guitar and resonant synth frequencies, it's sexually super-charged and mystically erotic with a tense underlying grit. Hot. And sweaty.
A mellow old school hip hop instrumental with a jazzy underground feel. Recreating a great vintage tone harking back to the 70s, you still feel the modern production edge in a clean cut track of retro groove. Upright bass, horns, synth textures and a driving rhythm all keep the laid back energy moving forward, generating a mysterious and curious vibe with more than a hint of tension.
An upbeat and funky tune, with a strong reggae feel. Playing on its light and cheery tone, you get bright electric guitars, bouncy bass and all sorts of party, sunshine vibes. Fun and easy going pop with a carefree attitude and great sense of melody.
Spooky goings-on and creepy encounters guaranteed with this one - with a mix of playful kitsch and genuine horror soundscape, it has a bit of everything. Starting with a light glockenspiel and piano theme to set a tone of mystery and an air of suspense, things turn ugly for a disturbing mid section of synth warps and panicked effects, which never completely goes away as the main theme returns. Dramatic and familiarly chilling.
Intense electronica with a real pump to give it a strong industrial edge. Pulsating bass and gritty synth set the tone, with the odd quirky dissonance thrown in to unsettle you and generate a darker atmosphere. Add in the hard hitting beat, distorted guitar riffs and digitised synth textures and you've got a full-on track that packs a dramatic punch with a brooding, action based epicness enveloping it.
If you're looking to awaken your system and return it to its original perfect state, this 'Si' frequency is the one you want. Said to target the pineal gland, the meditative synth tones and generated soundscapes of this track will gently ease you into another state, transforming your mood and boosting your passage to enlightenment. 8 full minutes of airy calm to add ambience and texture, useful in many different contexts.
Hopefully no-one tries listening to this on a cheap phone speaker or $1 headphones - the majority of it just won't be there. That's because, like all the best sounds, it's all about the bass. This ancient solfeggio frequency of 69.3 Hz is the lowest and lesser-known tone and is supposed to act as a resonance deepener. Mixing lush, soothing tones and ethereal sounds with the richness of the almost rumbling bass gives off a warm, comforting vibe of spiritual contentment, sure to soothe and invigorate in equal measure.
A melodic rock song about the meaning of real love. A really sultry opening of male vocals and clean electric guitar in a classic rock ballad style opens up into a rockier chorus with a soft crunch tone. Expect plenty of electric guitar lead work, vocal harmonies and upbeat hooks whilst staying planted and totally in control. Cool mid tempo rocking with a little musical sunshine thrown in.
I'm going to call this one garage metal due to its overall raw old school tone, but it still has a modern punch, thanks mainly to the powerful, compressed assault you get from the drums. Aggressive, distorted and at times dissonant, it has all the angst and energy associated with the heavier end of the genre - fast rhythm picking, double bass blast beats and downtuned bass guitar all playing their part to bring you an unsettling and tense instrumental of dark heaviness.
A more upbeat and energetic take on lounge jazz. Still smooth, with an elegant, refined vintage tone from the electric piano and blended synth leads, but driven by an animated drumbeat and bass line that generates a really dynamic groove. Lots of movement whist maintaining a fashionable and elegant poise.
Action packed, adrenaline fuelled percussive glitch rock. With a percussive, tribal beat setting the tone, the rest is built up of riffing electric guitar with overlaid synth textures, sweeps and drops. Working brilliantly as a tension builder due to the constant forward momentum and suspense, it carries interest both as a standalone track and a supporting theme for multiple projects, from sports to games to action films. Upbeat, tense and punching like a stadium rock riff on steroids.
Ambient orchestral hybrid piece, mixing rich synth textures and leads with traditional instruments, and weaving it all through a tapestry of rhythmic playfulness. A complex web of time signatures combines seamlessly to create an ever evolving, free flowing landscape for the rolling piano and pizzicato strings to colour in, all while keeping a light and uplifting tone to the music. Woodwinds add air and space, gentle percussion adds a touch of movement and magic, generating a peaceful background track that gives something a bit different.
An acoustic ukulele and piano instrumental with a difference. Normally the reserve of upbeat and commercial happiness, this uke theme takes on a more reflective feel, with a slower pace and more serious overall tone, whilst still managing to maintain the lightness, simplicity and dynamic of more conventional pieces. A subtle shift in feeling with a familiar style.
Solo piano track that manages to give off peaceful, relaxing vibes at the same time as sounding animated and playful. Very melodic, and masterfully mixes surprising major/minor progressions and rhythmic variations without upsetting the overall balance and tone of the piece. At times melancholic, at others triumphant, but always serene and atmospheric.
Simple, chilled hip hop track. Ideal as a backdrop, it alternates passages of reverbed guitar and keyboard chords with beat driven passages for contrast. Nothing fancy, but sets a certain tone of reflection and calm stability with an urban chic.
Gentle acoustic track. Slightly more relaxed than your normal ukulele whistle tracks thanks to the slower feel, and featuring more piano for a fresher take, with added strings for a classier, more grown up feel, it remains a light hearted piece that's usuable in a wider range of situations. It ambles along nicely thanks to the simple shuffle beat and gentle instrumentation, with a welcome change of feel in the mid section as the whistling drops out in favour of a change in chord progression, creating a more reflective tone. Catchy, carefree, jaunty and jovial.
