Music tracks
Latin America welcomes a breath from the Middle East in this pop/rock fusion track. High energy with a great groove, Arabic influenced melodies on strings and guitars play with cooler South American keyboard and guitar themes, each having their moment to shine whilst maintaining that percussive rock feel. Upbeat and ready to party from start to finish, it's sensual, animated and highly charged in the coolest of World grooves.
Upbeat dance pop track with an unusual flavour. Over a standard dance beat, two things stand out: the reversed strummed electric guitar rhythm and the Arabic sounding melodic lead. Separately, you wouldn't bat an eyelid, but in the context of an anthemic club banger, it lends a distinct, yet subtle taste of something unexpected and a little different. A happy, good time tune which rises and drops to build intensity.
An absolute curiosity of a track. The minimalist beat is cool, diverse and easily relatable. And then there's the rest. Super chilled upright double bass plucks out the laziest of melodies, soon joined by a simple, melancholic acoustic guitar line and the vocal warblings of the world's only Arabic gospel singer. Very relaxed, totally innovative and definitely standout, I can't help but get Mexican funeral vibes with a neo jazz twist. But that's doesn't tell even half the story ....
Exotic Indian and Arabian influences dominate this instrumental track, based around a melodic sitar theme. An exuberant posse of percussion, from hand drums to cymbals, provides the perfect backdrop to this feast of flavours from the Orient, creating a magical and mystical aura to transport you to another culture. Not entirely rooted in traditional music, it adds an electric bass to give a taste of more modern desert blues, and lift the vibe to an upbeat, liberated slice of the East.
